Use the editor for additions placed over a page: notes, labels, simple corrections, images, signatures and freehand marks. Existing paragraph text is part of the original PDF content and is not reflowed like text in a DOCX file. To correct it visually, cover the old area carefully and add replacement text, then inspect the result at high zoom.

Editing is not secure redaction

A colored rectangle can hide information visually but may leave the underlying text recoverable through selection, copying or another PDF application. Fonts, positioning and export checks

Choose a common font and size that remain legible at normal zoom. Keep additions inside the page boundary and verify pages with different rotations separately. After export, reopen the downloaded PDF rather than trusting only the editor preview. Check every changed page, text placement, image proportions, links and form fields. Keep an original copy because editing and export can flatten interactive elements.
